I've just got one item on my list: Rey's instant green bread (quarter portion). It should taste like zucchini bread.

And blue milkshakes. Two--Two items on my list...

I'm really hoping they can develop the instant bread portions into something tasty as well.

As theme parks go the menus at Disneyland Park are mostly pretty good, but nothing exceptional, so I'm curious to see how the Resort's culinary team handles the hyped up SW food program. Will the new dining establishments be a step up like the food experiences at DCA, or will they be akin to the mediocre SW themed food currently being served at the TL Terrace? The enormous challenge I see with this is that, unlike DCA, a large segment of DL's core audience is young children, which is not an audience known to be interested in eating strange and exotic foods.

Put me at the little kid's table because I'm extremely picky.

Rey's bread isn't green. The green food she's shown eating after the bread scene isn't the bread itself, it's called "veg-meat." The bread (called polystarch) is gray.

I'm bummed that, due to the time period, we won't get Dex's Diner-- the one and only thing I really liked in the entire prequel trilogy.
I liked seeing a Besalisk on screen but I didn't think the diner fit in the Star Wars universe at all.

POLYSTARCH: $8.99

I guess the lighting and editing fooled me. Why does gray bread sound a lot less appetizing than green bread?

You should have seen the Star Wars party we had for my son's sixth birthday. We had Han Solo Jello, Wookie Cookies, Jedi Juice, YODA SODA, Vaderade, Lightsaber chocolate dipped pretzel sticks, Princess Lays (chips), Boba Q chips (that was my idea). It was truly legendary. I'm still tired from that party, a year and a half later.

Did you do your own Jedi Training Academy? We did that with cut in half pool noodles. They got to decorate their lightsabers. That had fun hitting each other with them at the park.
