Didn’t even know this was a thing. You need then to get on the rides, correct? On a scale of 1-10, how hard is it to get these things when you’re in the park at Rope Drop (going on Sunday 2/16). Any advice or prayers for good luck would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!!

How hard on scale 1-10? 25
It really depends on where you stand. Don't be in main street. Make sure you wifi or data is fast. Have your group ready on your phone and be on app really to press the button. Use a separate timer to be really to press the button at exactly the right second. Passes disappear with ten seconds. Do not try to get a BG from a machine. However, everyone leaves after not getting one. The park is very quiet after thousands of people leave.

Current advice is the only winning move is not to play. Just enjoy the park as if RotR didn't exist.

you only need a boarding pass for the new ride. this has made getting into the park at rope drop stressful, but things have been clearing out rather quickly after the initial rush. if you go on a sunday you should be fine - try to get there a little early and see if you get lucky, and if you don’t you still get to enjoy the rest of the park!

There is a thread with lots of good information but the main thing is to make sure you are inside the park before opening time. Make sure you are logged in to the app and that all your members of your party passes are linked up to each other-The linking is so that everyone gets a chance to be on the same boarding group if you get one.

Then just be ready to click on join boarding group at the exact second the clock strikes. Hope you do get a boarding time for the ride if not enjoy the rest of the park and the rest of Galaxy Edge.

Oh and if you get a back-up boarding group you still might get a chance o ride. Disney usually says that they guaranty boarding up to a certain group but if the day goes well they usually board way more groups then they promised.

Thanks for the heads up about the thread! Park opens at 8, so our plan is to be lined up by 7am. Fingers crossed for us!!
