What would you like to be done to star tours to improve it?

Well, having heard the rummours of making it a Pod-racing film update, I think it would be good to have differetn races on diferent planets each having unique terrains, so essentially perhapse 4 different films that would randomly rotate. Then in addation they would be 3 altranate endings to each film, the guess woudl win the pod rade each time, but they way they woudl win it woudl have 3 possiblites. Then these endings would also randomly roate. Obviosuly the gaol of these modifications would to give the guests a versimilitued of the long desired,"different expereicne each time".

Sounds like a pretty cool idea...
Though this would be incredibly hard to create wouldn't it? Cus most of the pods are open top so they would also have to have projectors on the celling which i dont know if it has been done but would seem hard to acheive.
I think that it should just be updated...
Keep the same car BUT this time make it smoother using the latest technology in simulation.
Also like u said guests could goto different planets well this one could too visiting the main planets in the film say... Courosent, Tatooine etc.
Also these films would be totaly new so of course lots of brilliant CG.
Then for animatronics well i like R2 but maybe replace the navigating robot with maybe one from the films.
Well of course after choosing your planet to swiftly visit you then land get off the ride and will be in that type of land where you landed. So like courocent maybe a big long modern corridoor and if u look out the windows u see the courocent landscape (projections) and visit an ultra modern shop.

The ship would still be the same, the idea would be that you are still on your tour to Endor, but instead of the deathstar scene you drop into a Pod Race by accident, possibly because of the asttriods knocking you out of your orbit.

Then i think that the ships all together should be remade to look like transport systems that can go around the pod race course. So visitors can actually race in the podrace without substaining and damage to themselves just the pod. so like you enter in a nice clean pod/transport system on the left and exit the right and on that side lots of bumps and gashes just to give the illusion that the pod has actually been in the race... ooooh

Yeah, I think the damage idea is cool...
Since noone likes my 'walkthrough' afterwards...I'll just give up with posting it
But yeah, Damage..Each destination..Damage, a certain segment of the pod would be destroyed, and elements from outside would come in...
Examples..
-Hoth-Snow blows into the pod
-Coruscant-You could end up in space, sustain damage, and have the 'vacuum of space' simulated as air rushes out of the pod, until shields are sustained again.
-Naboo Again, damage, end up in water, hole, water floods into the simulator, similar to the way storm rider or whatever works in Tokyo.
