Star Tours Rumor!!!

When I was at DL, one of the CM who worked there told DH and I that next year they will be shutting down the ride to "re do" the ride, since Lukas wants to update the ride and have all episodes for the ride.

Until Disney officially anounces anything, we can only speculate.

I believe Lucas said that at one of the big Star Wars conventions early this year. However, I believe it was said of WDW's version, NOT DL's. Now, it could very well be that they want to do both, but I haven't heard anything about DL getting it yet outside of CM rumor. And speaking as a former CM myself - take everything you hear from CMs with a grain of salt, because it's only actually true a small fraction of the time. :lol:

2007? that soon? how do you know the year? I thought this is still in the blue sky level.

I think DL will get the latest version first. I don't know why I just feel that Lucas would like it to renew at DL first.

Well it is speculation but that is what most of the sites dealing with news and rumors are saying. Lucas really wants to do this as he did in 1999 but the reason why it will happen this time is that there is no more strategic planning.
