Star Tours 2 Rumor

if Compaq can pay $200,000,000, I would think a pharamaceutical company would pay $80,000,000 for a nice new pavillion (not an E-Ride...we don't need three in a row...no one would go to Future World West anymore...)

I must confess I don't go to Future World West much anymore.... and as the subject gets back to Star Tours.. as long as they dont change anything outside Im happy with it.. the themeing for that ride is super! :D

I'm starting to think screw making a new star tours. Keep the old one it ROCKS! I have an idea remember on the imagineering speacial they were thinking about making an emv star wars attraction, that inspired the indiana jones attraction at disneyland. I was just thinking, they could find some empty space next to star tours and make an emv star wars attraction. That's just my thought. The one at MGM studios.

I wish they would add a few more simulators, and have two shows in the same building! The original show, and then the "New Destination" or something like that. Heck, they could have two diffrent ride lines, so that the themeing doesn't run together.

Sure, it's wishful thinking, but hey, the Studios has the space. Disneyland, I'm not sure about though. Whatever they decide to do, I'll bet it'll blow us all away.

Am I the only one who thinks the pod racer theme would be passe? I think they should update it to a theme along the lines of the last few minutes of "Attack of the Clones". Clones got some warmer reviews (not too many, though) than Phantom Menace.

Or, better yet, just go with a ride themed to the original trilogy, only make it different than the current one. What about actually going to the Moon of Endor? Or how bout dodging the Imperial Walkers on the planet Hoth?

And maybe, as a little joke, they actually have George Lucas dive behind a desk at the end of the ride

I've often wondered how they would tie this into the whole "passenger craft" idea. It'll be interesting, no doubt.

I just thought of how amazing a Star Wars EMV ride would be..... like a typical Disney EMV (Dinosaur and Indy), but with maybe 3-d screens (i know, very similar to Spider-man, but still...) and huge sets. This would probably do the movies more justice than the current outdated simulator

Why can't they just tell us what they are doing?
Sadly, it doesn't look like they've done ANYTHING to the speeder at all...maybe they are just giving them a fresh coat of paint?
