Stalk me during the Disneyland Half Marathon!!!

Well, kinda ;)

So, the Half Marathon is only two short weeks away, and Disney has Live Results set up so friends and family members can find out how their runners are doing during the race, as it's happening. Either via email or text messages. So, in case anyone here is interested in tracking me and sharing this 13.1 mile journey with me, I am inviting you to track me and show your support. Jebus knows I'll need the support! :lol:

Go here: http://disneyworldsports.disney.go....CoastHalfMarathon2006EventInfoEventDetailPage and click on Live Results and follow the instructions to track me. I am listed as Nicholas Mitchell, and my city will either say Forest Hills, NY or Astoria, NY depending on if they have updated my address yet or not.

And for anyone else running in the Half Marathon, share your info so all of WDWMagic can cheer us on via Live Results, and best of luck with the run! See ya out there! :wave:

Oh, and get ready for FAR too many DLand pics when I get back. Just warning you all now ;)

I'm afraid to pick a time I want to aim for in case I don't meet the goal. I don't want to feel like I failed in any respect when it's going to be a huge accomplishment just to finish, ya know?

But if I had to give a time...I'd like to make 2.5 hours. Not counting the time it takes for me to even get to the start line after the race begins. 2.5 from the time I start til the time I finish.

13 miles is quite an accomplishment, no matter how long it takes you. That is a fact for sure!

My husband and I are running too! Heading out all the way from Glendale, RI. Very excited to see Disneyland - This will be our first trip out there! Good luck to everyone running! :wave:

Today I did one of my final big runs as part of my training. It was 10.3 miles and took me 115 minutes. So, for those of you tracking me, that means you should be getting your first notice of my location about that long after I start (i think the first check point for live results is 10 miles). That also puts me at Angel's Stadium on the course. And has me finishing at about the 145 minute mark (unless i've completely forgotten math since i was in school, which is hightly possible), which is right on target with my goal. Yay!

Yay! It was sooo much fun! I'm so glad I did it!

Full report and pics (over 500 were taken) coming as soon as I get some sleep and can focus on organizing some sort of order to them.
