Nope, I didn't. By trying tom install the new one I lost the old one (which I know worked). I've un installed/reinstalled it so far, guess I'll try it again.

edit: Just tried it again. This time I directly installed it to the computer instead of my D Drive (Zip), which is where the other was stored. It worked, but I get an error...something about Winpup.. Oh well. (maybe I should get on the special bus that takes you to computer school. )

My old spybot works just fine. What is different about the new one?

It has more bells & whistles. Click the link & read about it (you don't have to download it) My old SpyBot worked fine too, but this has more "stuff". :wave:

not being very good with computers or knowing much about them i just downloaded this for the frist time and it has sorted out a few things that were wrong with my pc that came in on the back of other programs. cheers Woody13 for posting the link:sohappy:

Also, I'd suggest you download SpywareBlaster 3.1 to keep spyware from installing on your computer in the first place!

The old Spybot 1.2 will no longer get any new updates. From here on, only Spybot 1.3 will get new updates. All previous versions of Spybot are now obsolete.
