Just wanted to let you all know to check your reservations. I just took advantage of the new Spring Vacation Offer and saved $356.95 on my upcoming trip (May 25 - June 1, 2014). It took two phone calls to do it though. The first cast member really didn't know what she was doing, and she ultimately said after she applied the discount, my price stayed the same. I thought this to be kind of weird because as part of the offer, you get one ticket day for free. Originally, I was paying for 8 day tickets, so I am not understanding how my package price stayed the same????? Nonetheless, I politely thanked her for her help and ended the call.
Not satisfied with that outcome, I decided to price out a new package online myself. What I found was, my current reservation did not qualify for the discount because I was booked into a standard room. Although, if I switched from a standard room to a garden view room, then my reservation would be eligible for the discount. ( $356.95 savings). So, armed with the correct information, I called Disney back. Spoke with a wonderful cast member and within 3 minutes (I was on hold with the other cast member for 15 minutes while she figured out what the problem was), the discount was applied to my reservation.
It took just a little more work on my part, but I prevailed. I hope all that can take advantage of this offer does. I now have more money to either splurge for the park hopper, memory maker, or just more spending money overall.....decisions, decisions, decisions!!!!
