Spring Break

We're thinking about going to Disneyland March 21-27, and I realize that that is supposed to be one of the more "busy" times. Compared to Disney World, what exactly is "one of the more busy times" like? To me, Disney World in the summertime is completely do-able. Can anyone explain this to me, at all? Thank you!

Well, I'm of the opinion that Disneyland is do-able during spring break if you give yourself time. :) How many days are you going to be at the parks? I'd say it takes 3 days to really take it all in without having to run around. Lines don't get horrible. I waited 2 hours for Indy during Spring Break a couple of years back, and that's the longest I've waited there in awhile. Big Thunder I'd guess would be a 60-min-ish wait. Splash is generally 90-120 during peak, but it depends highly on the weather, too. Mansion and Pirates would be 30-45. Those are just general wait times that I've observed, though. :)

I visited last year during Spring Break and will be going again this year during the same time frame. Lines were not too long and crowds were managable. The FL dark rides were posting 20-25 minute waits, Mansion and Pirates had 30-45 minute waits, and Splash Mountain's wait times were anywhere from 1-2 hours. At DCA, I waited 30 minutes for Screamin' and 40 minutes for Soarin'. Take advantage of FP and everything should go well.
