Splitting Between Two Resorts?

We are splitting our stay between POR and Wilderness. Has anyone else done this and did you have any difficulty when they transferred your luggage between resorts? We are planning on doing a theme park the day we change resorts and hope that when we return to the Wilderness in the evening our bags will be there. Did anyone do this and have any problems?

We went down last January and spent half our stay at the Poly and half at the Coronado Springs. Other posts on this site suggest that it takes a good portion of the day to switch resorts but I disagree, it was so easy! A bell person collected our luggage right from our room the last morning we were at the Poly and gave us a reciept. We left for MK and at dinner time grabbed a bus to CS. We checked-in, and then called to have our luggage delivered! The only down side was that we used two, 2-day reservations. One for each resort. Had we only made one, 4-day reservation we would have paid a little less for magic-your-way park hoppers.

Our last trip we started at the CB, then went to the AKL and spent the last few nights at the Poly... No problems what so ever.
We had rented a minivan so we would check out in the morning, load up the van, go to a park for a while, go check in and either relax and enjoy the new resort or head back to a park. Really easy if you want to experience different resorts or can't swing a deluxe $$ for your full stay...
Our next trip we're doing the AKL and Poly again... it was that easy.
