Splitting a reservation at the same resort.

Our vacation falls in between the two discounts. In order to take advantage of the other discount, we would need to check out and in-- right in the middle of our vacation.

I know we're not guaranteed the same room, but we're staying in a 1 br villa. We will have all sorts of food items, some of which will require refigeration. I really don't want to check out at 11, come back at four to restock my fridge and freezer.

Has anyone been able to keep the same room?

I booked this before any discounts were offered, so I had no way of foreseeing this.

I have done this - and even though you are technically 'checking out' and then 'checking in' - if it is the SAME room you will not have to leave...they will just move from one reservation to the next.... all should be good.... Once you are there, check with the desk and tell them you are staying for a second rezzie - they will work with you I am sure!

I had problems in booking a DVC room and had to make the reservation piecemeal. But it was complete and I never moved out of the room....

I have done the same thing several times and have never had to move rooms but it is always a possibility.
