Splitsville

Hello everyone,

When we get to Disney, we plan to head to Disney Springs on the first day. I've been browsing different places to eat and we thought it might be fun to eat at Splitsville and then do a little bowling. (We will hit the parks the next day.) I plan on making reservations for most of our dining, but is it really necessary for Splitsville? We probably won't be hungry for dinner until around 8:00 anyway because we're getting in the afternoon and will have a late lunch. Also, if any of you have eaten there, how was it? I've seen the menu online, looks like they have some good selections. Thanks.

I've had lunch there. It was probably 11:30 am on a Monday in early April and it was a ghost town. I believe I had the Ahi Tuna salad and my boss had the Crouching Dragon. We were both happy with our selections..

We went on a Saturday night in October last year. We had reservations for 7:00 PM and there was a good crowd but it didn't seem like walk ups were a problem. Their seating capacity is significant. We didn't bowl, just ate. Most of the bowlers seemed to be young teens with little experience bowling but they were all having a good time. The food was very good. I previously had the pulled pork there and enjoyed it. This time around my wife and I both had the Happy Hog Burger and it was big, messy, and terrific. Although not on the menu our server was kind enough to make us the best Arnold Palmers we ever had. It is pretty loud with lots going on and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. A good choice I think.

I've eaten there several times and I don't think we've ever had a reservation. We usually get seated quickly. Their grilled buffalo chicken tenders are my go-to menu item! I get them every time! :)
