Splitsville

We just got home from a long weekend. After wandering around DTD for a bit DH and I decided to try dinner at Splitsville. We were hesitant, I mean dinner-sushi for that matter-at a bowling alley? We were certainly surprised! It was fantastic! We had a great table on the second floor balcony- the most ideal location in DTD for people watching, and our waiter was a young guy that used to work in the Canada pavilion at Epcot (we actually recognized him)-amazing service. What a relaxing way to end the day- I highly recommend it :)

Thanks for the Review. We stopped by to check the place out when we were at WDW in January. We didn't eat there. Being a avid bowling family we couldnt stay once we saw the lanes were not regulation length. LOL

We will give the food a try in December! Again Thanks for the review. I believe Spltsville was added to TiW.

I think we will give the dining a try there on our next trip. Not a bowler and have never had the inclination to eat at a bowling alley, but from what I see this is not a bowling alley, but an entertainment and dining destination. Not sure about sushi there though...reminds me of the gas station sushi commercial.

LOL that commercial is SO funny and that's EXACTLY what I was thinking about when I ordered it- I had the volcano roll and it was INCREDIBLE! My husband doesn't even like sushi and he ate half of it. He had a BBQ chicken pizza which was equally good. I'm typically not a pizza eater because I'm very particular about crust, but their crust was almost perfect. And I am definitely not a bowler- I refuse to wear "communal" shoes-GROSS!

I'll be checking it out in a few months. My son enjoys bowling so no doubt we'll be having a game or two and I refuse not to try out the menu if that is the case.
