Split Stay Questions

Hi, due to resort availability, we are doing a split stay on rented DVC points between Animal Kingdom Lodge (2 nights) and Boardwalk (4 nights). We've never done a split stay before so I have a few questions:

1. When booking a Dining Plan, I'm assuming we could have the option of only getting a dining plan for one of the two reservations, correct?

2. ADRs : Checkin is 3/3/19 at AKL, 3/5 at BWV- Does the 180 days only apply for the first two nights at 9/4/18, and then for the remainder at 9/6/18?

3. Fastpasses: If I buy a 5 day hopper prior to the 60 day window for the 3/3/19 would it let me book fastpasses for all 5 days, or would I have to wait for 60 days out at BWV?

1. Not entirely sure. Dining plan works a bit different with DVC reservations, but I am not sure if it will be the same when renting points. You very well might be able to get it for the entire stay. However, depending on where you are dining, you might want to forgo the dining plan, but that is a whole other discussion.
2. For dining you will have to do it in 2 blocks 180 days out from each of your two check in dates.
3. You should be able to book FP for the length of your ticket.

Okay thanks! I'll check with the guy I rented from about the dining plan. I've done the math, We are 2 adults, plus a 5, 4 and 2 year old.. By hoarding the kids table service credits for buffets where the 2yr old is free and maxing out on Flower & Garden festival snacks it works out quite nicely in our favor.

Two different reservations, so you have two different 180 windows to deal with.

You should be ok with the first 60 day window.

Character meals can absolutely make it worth it. Regular order from a menu ones, not so much.
