Split stay - no rental car

We are staying at SSR and switching to Wilderness Lodge for our 3 final nights. This is the first time we are doing a split stay and I am curious about our move to Wilderness. Obviously we can take a bus to get there but what about our luggage? Can I ask to have it brought there on our check out day? or do we have to take a taxi just to get our bags there? Any info would be great! Thanks in advance! We are vacation club members and usually just stay put at Saratoga but we jumped on the spring deal because we can't help ourselves!!

You can call Bell Services at SSR. They will come to your room, pick up the bags and have them transferred to Wilderness Lodge. (Allow a few hours for the transfer to happen) When you get to WL, check in, go to your room and call Bell Services. They'll bring up your bags. Remember to tip Bell Services since unlike the Magical Express arrival system, transfers don't get a gratuity from Disney.

This is the same process at all Disney hotels, though I've found that at the Value resorts it's about 50/50 whether you have to bring your bags to the Bell Services desk by the lobby yourself or if they'll come pick them up. (It could also depend on how busy they are that day)

When we've transferred, we have them pick up the luggage, head to a park for the day, and then in the afternoon head over to the second resort to check in.

I'm enjoying that we get 2sets of magic bands for our upcoming trip. Taking full advantage of that while it lasts! A whole set of colors to be saved! and the boxes are fun too! I have to set up our annual pass bands next! I sound so greedy but it's just excitement!

I only have the pink one left to go, we were part of the test, so we have been collecting them for a while.
