Last time I went on Splash Mountain, it seems they changed the place of the frog at the beginning. He is now on the first lift hill in the middle of it. Before, he was right before the lift hill. I'm pretty sure i am not imagining things. Is there any reason of why they did this.

No Reason, They Just Re-did the Ride Recently so they could have moved it for an atmospheric purpose or maybe electrical lines had to be moved. Probably some trivial reason.

Probably becuase now as you leave the sation they place warning in english and spanish to stay seated.

They moved him to the lift hill so you could still hear is introduction over the warning messages.

There was a number of things that Splash needed to repair for the last few years and still havn't.
-The shadow projection of Brer Frog in the queue.
-The presence of Brier Rabbit right before the first drop (it's been draped with a checkered screen for some time now).
-The smell of the padded handle bars. Yuck!
-Also, the outside area, before the first drop, seems to be a lot less lighted at night than it used to.

The last time I rode (December 2000) Brier Rabit was there. Or are you talking about the DL version?

In December Brer Frog was telling his grandkids the story in the Queue. So was the Brer Rabbit before the drop. Come to think of it...the lighting at night was also fine.

Anyone notice that Brer Frog's volume was also turned down...it's very tough to hear him now with the cowboy telling us to sit down!

Yeah, he still tells the story, but was his shadow there. The shadow was of him on a rocking chair.

I'm positive last week that Brer Rabbit was not in his cave area before that first drop. If you saw it in December, then it must brake down frequently (maybe since it's outside and all). I could be wrong about the lighting, but it seemed to me that the birdhouses had a lot more light on them then they do now.

The shadow was there brighter than ever, and I have never seen the Brer Rabbit thing not work.
