Splash mountain cannons

I am going to be in MK on dec. 16, and i know the water cannons for splash are turned off in the cooler months. Has anyone been on splash very recently and do you know if the cannons are on? I know its been really warm so I am not to sure. I don't want to get too wet so I am debating if I should buy a poncho.

I don't know, but there is one bridge that completely bypasses the canons and on the bridge that the canons actually hit, only about half of the bridge gets hit..when they actually work! It's actually not supposed to be too cool that day, and i wouldn't want to pay $8 for a poncho just because of that!

I just got back from Disney world and Rode splash 3 times. The Cannons on the bridge are currently off, if you meaning the water cannons used on the drop that splash rides beside the drops those are on. But fair warning Splash as been closing randomly through out the day at least once a day for the last few days. I am not sure the issue, I tired to get it out of someone.
