"Spirits" at MNSSHP

Dear all,

My beer-loving sister is coming with us to MNSSHP on August 30. She would like to know if she can grab a beer at a bar or lounge, or if she needs a full dinner seating. The only thing that crossed my mind was maybe Diamond Horseshoe or Plaza. I know there are lounges in other parks, but I was wondering if such a thing was possible. She is not so desperate that she wants the Cruella/Tony's upcharge.

Any insight would be great.

Sincerely,
Gregory N. Baker

Best is to visit the Contemporay resort before arriving if they really need to get an alcoholic drink. Its only otherwise available with food in the Magic Kingdom and that's cutting into the time you have at the party.

Dear Gregory N. Baker,

If your sister's main concern when faced with going to the most premiere theme park in the world is where she can get a beer, then it's time to have a talk with her about her drinking habits. Hopefully, your intervention can keep a possible problem from getting worse. Or, perhaps, you failed as a brother and Disney fan to adequately describe the type of event and the many activities one would be engaged in such that swigging from a can of Coors isn't necessary as this is not a back yard patio party. Time to educate her on the Disney lifestyle. Try your best to hide her from any mention of "Drinking Around the World."

Either way, good luck to you and your sister and your family.

Sincerely,
Dear MisterPenguin

Seriously??? He just asked if there was any place for his sister to get a beer....don't recall him asking for a lecture on her drinking habits. :(

On that note it is also not appropriate or necessary to lecture people on their finances or the feasibility of their next Disney trip when they ask how to save money on rooms or other things. This happens all too often. You don't have enough information to lecture anyone on anything. Sorry, but this really bothers me.

"Spirits" at the MK. Unless you get TS - Are just that. Ghosts. You'd be better off trying to spot Elvis near CBJ. I hear he likes them. And he shows up - every once in a while.

Best bet. Drink before at Poly. Drink after Contemp.

In MK you will only find alcoholic beverages at Table Service locations Be Our Guest being the exception since it is a Quick Service location for breakfast and lunch and does offer alcohol at those meals.
Alcohol may also be provided at dessert parties in MK as well but I'm not positive about that.
You cannot walk around with alcohol at MK.

No alcohol at MK dessert parties, just sparkling cider.
