Hayao Miyazaki's masterpiece won more than an Oscar last night, according to Cartoon Research. It won the right to be re-released to 800 U.S. theatres this Friday--its widest coverage so far had been a very low 151 screens! "Disney will be announcing plans to re-release the Japanese film in theatres later today." Disney did keep its word then, giving many animation fans and movie lovers across the country a chance to finally see this awesome movie!
