Although there isn't a villiains kingdom,but if the was one in wdw I came up with this spider ride. It would be like Alien Encounter you would be sitting in a circle...I should tell the story first every year the villains hosted a convention of a scary creature this years is a spider. Now to the ride you are sitting in a circle as I said before once everyone is in there seats restraints come down because the villians want you to stay. Then erie music plays and very slowly a big spider comes down in front of you, his name is Alfred.He tells you that you will be seeing a show full of surprises and showing what spiders can do. "Oh I forgot to let my friends in" Alfred says. Then you can feel on you something like big fuzzy spiders crawling around and Alfred says "don't worry if you move slowly they won't bite."Then Alfred shows you how to spin a web and sprays it everywhere(it's crazy string) then suddenly a person in a special seat gets bitten(poked) and dissapears (behind a hidden door). There that person gets his picture taken and the picture is morphed into a spiders face. Outside a second spider appears beside Alfred it is the selected person turned into a spider. Alfred says "oops I guess some one moved,Butt It's time for you to leave"Then mist sprays everywhere and the selected guest is back.What the guest did while he or she was waiting was having a virtual realty life as a spider.Then every one leaves and if they want can get there picture as a spider.

Spider Ride In Villians Kingdom

I think it would be a lot better if everyone got morphed into a spider, without needing to pay. Also, I think silly string would be too hard to clean up after every show.

Sounds pretty good
But the story could use some work
Villians? Holding a convention?
Perhaps they throw you into a dungeon..
You could extend upon this, make it a ride, send them through a few scenes, each filled with a nasty creature, the first could be the spider, then maybe a scorpion, (You could use the same 'sting' technology like the one in a bug's life) and who knows what other creature you could come up with. It's pretty endless. The whole circular theater could move, from scene to scene.
Instead of silly string, perhaps shut the lights off and have a bunch of silk-string run along they're faces, it would feel like real spider webs, and would be ALOT creepier. ( I don't know about you, but walking into a spider web at night really creeps me out)
I'm not sure about the whole "Turn into the spider thing" perhpas you could expand on it? It sounds like it would be something to do after the ride, like have a virtual reality section after the ride.

You were officially the oldest forum post in the "Imagineer Category". By posting this, I shall send you back to Revival! I really like this 20+-year-old concept. Spider is definitely kinda creepy. 22 years later, what does the forum think should be changed?

It's a very creative original story. And it could fit into any castle or studio park effectively including two of mine (Hollywood Adventure and Dark Dominion).
