Have you ever had a speical time at Walt Disney World? Just anything that happened that made you feel speical. I know for most people just being there is speical, but just a speical moment that happened there.

When I was younger, my family could never afford Disney vacations. When I became an adult and could finally afford to go myself I planned and planned for months. I was so nervous that it wouldn't live up to the hype.

But it did. :sohappy:

So I guess the most special time (thus far) was just being there for the first time. I walked around in a daze just taking everything in. I can't wait to have children and share Disney with them. I have a feeling that will even top my first time.

I have 2...:)

My #1 special memory is having a Disney Wedding! It was by far the most romantic day ever!

My #2 would be bringing my daughter this past April on her first trip to WDW, we had an absolute blast watching her. It was Disney on a whole new level!

While I've had many special memories, my most favorite one would have to be when my husband proposed to me in front of the castle with a glass slipper! ::Sighs:: It was so romantic. :)

This most recent trip, I spent an afternoon (while the rest of the party slept) watching a lightning storm from the ASMu balcony, as it poured all around. Lightning's a novelty for Brits, so it was awesome... in the biblical sense.

My last trip in Nov. 2007 was pretty special to me than other trips I've taken. We went with my aunt, uncle, and their two little ones (2, and 8 years old). I've been there many times, but it was the first for them..

I think being there with those who have never been before makes it very special. Seeing WDW through the kids eyes was amazing, and so adorable. We still watch our video from the trip, and it brings a tear to my eye how much we all enjoyed ourselves, and how much the kids loved every little thing about WDW. As we turned the corner of Main Street, their faces lit up (eyes wide, and mouths wide with smiles) when they saw the castle for the first time...my sister and I almost cried. You don't really realize it at the moment...but when it was over it hit me real hard, how magical this trip really was compared to past trips.

Every trip to WDW is special no matter how or what happens, so just being there makes me happy. I do not have children...but I cannot wait until I do, so I can take them to my favorite place in the world and see it through their eyes also.

My lst visit to Disney World was special to me because it was also my
1-1/2 year old daughters lst visit. We have the pictures from that visit in a large collage framed. It was an amazing trip.

Christmas morning 1993. Watching the 3 year old have a visit from Santa under the tree in the lobby of the Yacht Club. Then watching him ride his new bike around the boarwalk.

Seeing and experiencing Disney for the first time was awesome. But without doubt the greatest thrill I had was when my four year old grandson made his first visit. The look in his eyes -- the excitement and the wonder. It made a lasting impression on me. He's been four times now, and his little sister has been three times. We plan the visit a whole year in advance. They mark their calendars with Disney stickers and each turn of a month brings great excitement. And they talk Disney all year waiting for the next visit. We'll be there in November, and with the calendars now turning to October, the wait for them is almost over. And while we're in Disney, another great moment is I'm able to spoil them. It's a great feeling. It's great being a grandad!
