OK I couldn’t see this topic anywhere in this discussion area so I though I should resurrect it again.
After many roumers of the MGM star wars attraction becoming updated many keen imagineering wannabe’s on this board have dreamt up some pretty good ideas I again have got another one…
The whole theme is set on the episode 2 plot where Obi wan and Anakin have to protect Padme from assassins.
The Que Line
This will be hard but will be effective thanks to Disney. It will be set in Coruscant quite a lavish building that has views every where you look. These will be video screens played on a continuous loop of the cityscape. You are here to take a nice trip around Coruscant to soak up the atmosphere. Your guide will be some sort of droid.
Transportation
The transportation will be a kind of Coruscant speeder but merged in with like a bus or something to do with public transport. You get in the speeder/bus and its pretty much set out like the other transport used before. The screen of course it right in front of you but maybe a bit larger. This time though restraint systems will be needed.
The Plot
As you prepare to take of on your fascinating journey around the beautiful city you are interrupted by a very hurried Anakin Skywalker he jumps into your speeder/bus and you take off. As your on your way he explains that His girlfriend has just almost been assassinated and his mentor is hanging on for his life from a droid. So agreeable you go on search for him Speeding your way through the busy air space of Coruscant. Anakin tries to make it a pretty smooth ride for you but unfortunately that doesn’t happen as you dive up and down through the busy Coruscant traffic. You notice Obi wan hanging on to the droid and then is shot off, you dive quickly to save him almost vertical speeding through the traffic to the ground below. You catch him and with the fantastically new technology of simulators they rock etc. to the most sensitive of bumps including catching Obi Wan.
So with Obi Wan in the speeder you are quickly introduced to him and your on your way again through the Coruscant traffic to find this Bounty Hunters speeder. Of course like the film you take the journey. Though maybe tweaked just to give this experience a little more original to the film (we know how people can moan at experiencing the same thing they saw in the movie). So as Anakin jumps out the speeder to find Zams speeder Obi Wan quickly finds a small area to park you down. Its quite risky to get involved with Jedi work. With that your parked somewhere safe and he runs off to find an unoccupied speeder in the docking bay. With that you exit your speeder in the bay and go down a fake lift (like the living seas one) and your back on the ground with C3P0 quickly apologising and pointing your way to the nearest exit.
