Spectromagic Cancelled???

Can ne1 confirm whether Spectromagic is cancelled or not... It is written in the Rumours section of this site? Please say this is not true...i adore this parade!!!!

It was rumored to happen when they started cutbacks in october, but I spoke to Disney, and the person I spoke to said there is no plan to cancel the show.

I remember hearing that they were planning a new electrical parade that would mix the best of Spectromagic with the best of MSEP, also adding new floats and elements. Don't know how that would stand post-9/11, since this was during my Custodial time... :zipit:

Well Disneyworld mainpage still has the parade planned for times during May and June so I wouldn't worry about it that long


I think these posts are starting to get really pessimistic and down . . . I thought Disney was suppose to make everyone happy. . . it's kind of depressing

I am going in July this year... and although these forums report some changes to the 'world.' i am still so excited. 5th time and i just cannot get enough...and i'm 18!!!!?

18, and if you've been five times than you are actually only about 6 years old in Disney experience years, you still have a long time left to enjoy!

I know.......i have ages to spend at disney i just hope that they do not get rid of my old favourites.....CofP (for example!)

Spectromagic is still here for the time being. I have heard speculation that it will go away in 2-2½ years time. It may OR may not be sent to another Disney park elsewhere in the world, and there may OR may not be a replacement.

Again, this is ONLY SPECULATION, and I know how some of you perceive speculation as the truth, so here's some advice. Until you see it, DON'T BELIEVE IT.
