OKW question/Home away from home resorts

It may have already been discussed here, but I cannot find it. If this is a repeat, I do apologize.
What EXACTLY does the OKW (And other Home away from homes I assume) provide as far as cookware, silverware, glassware, etc.? When I asked Disney I got the standard
"They provide everything Maam" comeback, LOL
We are in a 2 BR with 8 people, will there be enough plates, utensils and glassware for everyone? Cooking utensils - spatulas, mixing spoons, etc?
Will there be enough pots and pans to cook a multi-course meal?
They couldn't possibly provide napkins, paper towels, sponges to wipe the table? Could they?
Any information anyone has would be greatly appreciated. I would love to bring what I could from home. Thank you in advance.

This is the official list from the DVC member web site. There will be a list on the back of one of the kitchen cabinet doors, which you can use to verify that everything that's supposed to be there is there. It's not listed, but they do supply paper towels. I do not believe that they supply napkins any more, but I could be wrong. There is supposed to be a sponge, but we did not get one the last time. If you need to get more supplies, I'd recommend either Winn-Dixie or Publix. Gooding's is WAY overpriced. Let me know if you have any other questions.

The one bedrooms and above have great admenties. Studios not so much. If you need napkins, pick some up at the fast food restrant near by, (along with packets of kechup, mayo, suger ect...) but if you have that many people you might want to bring your own.

You will have enough plates ect..., but you will need to wash. They give you one thing of dishwahser soap, and will give you another 4 days in on trash and towel day, but you will need to suply anymore yourself (same with cothes washing degregant.) They have paper towels, and even rubber maid contanters, but if there is something you know you need, bring it just to be careful. Often if you don't have something (such as a cork screw,) a call to housekeeping will take care of it. If you are doing a lot of cooking bring some dish soap and spray for the counter.

I hear the 2 bedrooms at OKW are really big, the biggest of all the DVC 2 bedrooms. Some are "deicated 2 bedrooms", and some are a one bedroom with an conecting studio (meaning you get an whole other kichtenette, bathroom and TV.

If I recall correctly, Bailey is not a DVC member, meaning that she's doing a cash rental.

Cash rentals should get daily housekeeping, and you'll probably get daily replenishment. You may want to check with the front desk to make sure.

Thank you so much for ALL the great answers!!
We are renting from someone else, so that would be exciting to get housekeeping everyday. I like my bed made. LOL

Well, if you're renting points (rather than a cash reservation through Disney), then you'll get trash and towel service on day 4 and full cleaning on day 8. Sorry to disappoint you.

As a DCV member we really like only having TT on the 4th day and not everyday maid service. It can be a pain to be out of the room when they clean (kids take naps etc....) and we are such slobs I feel we need to clean up for the maids some. :hammer:

Just eaiser this way to be honest! Something I thought I would miss too, but didn't. (and it is one thing that keeps the price down.) If you stay for over 7 days you do get a full cleaning mid week. I do miss the maids at Poly that make all the neat things with towels and the guests toys!
