During our last trip, June 2003, we stayed at the contemporary through the shades of green. I searched all over the place for the pin with mickey shaking hands with a servicemember. I asked the cast member at the contemporary pin trader and she said that they were a limited run and were all sold out. she said if she ever came across one, she would send it to me, and took our address. I didnt think anything of it, in fact, forgot about it. Today, i recieved my pin from her in the mail.
I never paid her for it, didnt know her from any other cast member nor do i have any disney connections. Its so nice that some cast members still have some of walts magic.
I dont know if shes on this board, or if anyone on here works at the contemporary, but if there is, please send a big thank you to the cast member that went out of her way for us. being in the military, that pin was very important to me. it means even more now. Thanks again Walt Disney World, and the cast member who cares.
