T MINUS 77 DAYS UNTIL CARIBBEAN BEACH

Do you mean the channel with the Park Hopper Ticket Man
Commercial? :D I love the Park Hopper Man and had hoped to have my picture with him, too, but he was nowhere that I saw.
Yes, I wished I had taped it too it was really the best set of Disney World Commercials I had ever seen. I guess once your at their resort they figure they're going to get you in a park and show a little more.

We wanted to tape it also. My neice is autistic, and she was just mesmerized by that "zipa dee doo dah tip for today" she just loved it. so when my husband and I were there in May we tried to tape it, but the vcr's don't have record buttons on them! They just had a play button so we couldn't tape it! I'd love to get some sort of copy for her.

I wouldn't mind having a recording, I just don't know how long I could sit and watch it.

I do have the commercial(s) on mp3. I've got the 2000 Celebration, and then I have the 100 YoM; DVC Channel, "Today at WDW", "WDW Tour", "What's On" and "Your Next Vacation". All split up into each clip of the commercial.

If I think to remember, I will try and video it with the video camera on the tripod and digitise it to MPG format if that might help. I can't make any promises but bug me any time after 2nd August to see if I remembered.

Resort TV Sounds

For any of you, who are like me, want a copy of the Disney Resort TV sounds, go to www.disneysoundsworld.com you can download a 25 minute version of it in realaudio. I don't know exactly which version it is, but it's at least something.

You may have to hunt for it to find it. Go into the realaudio section of the web site and then down to Resorts and scroll down on the Resorts page and you will find it.

I am on the hunt for more than this, so I will keep everyone posted if I find anymore.

There used to be a web site called Walt Disney World Resort Channel that had videos, unfornuately it shut down. WDWMAGIC still has the link for it, for some reason.

At this point I could listen to the Resort channel for DAYS!! When I started reading this thread I could hear it in my mind!

So I guess if I must have voices in my head, it's good that they're Disney ones! :D

Now, I haven't been to Disney World in several years, but is there a way to unplug the coax cable away from the tv set? (I seriously doubt it). I was going to suggest take a portable tv set combination VCR and record it that way.

By the way, can the Disney World Resort Channel be picked up by an antenna? You could record it that way too, if the channel can be picked up by an antenna. I imagine they probably get that signal from satellite.

I love that channel (there is more then one now) When we go we always just leave the T.V. on that, that way we can stay in Disney all the time. You can wacth network T.V and cable at home!! We did get some of it on the Camcorder in the back ground.

I just love going: did that today, gonna do that tomarrow, going back for that!!!! One of the best things about staying at WDW.

If I remember correctly the whole things loops in about 45 minutes. I lucked out. While staying in a one bedroom at the Boardwalk, The bedroom TV came equipped with a VCR. I bought a blank tape at the camera shop on main street and taped away!
It makes you feel like you're at the parks anytime its on!

I think it was an effect strictly for the commercial. Plus you did not see the streetlight itself, so it could have been a computer effect or they made it specially for the ad shoot.

I have wanted to do this for years. I guess I will have to stop talking and start doing.
