Special Requests for Beach Club Villas?

My wife and I are bringing our 2 year old to WDW for the first time Dec 2 - 7. We're staying with my mom in a 2 bedroom villa at the Beach Club (never stayed there or anywhere else on property before).

Are there any special room requests I should consider requesting? I know some of the 2 bedrooms are lockoffs that combine a studio and one bedroom, any reason to avoid those?

Also, our flight lands at 8:33 am so I've asked for an early check-in. Any chance I'll be able to get into my room when I get to the resort ~10 AM?

Thanks.

The lockoffs shuld have a kitchenette in the studio side, in addition to the full kitchen in the 1 bedroom. That should be the only real difference. You can however lock your mom out with the lockoff. ; )

10 AM may be a little early. It all depends on the occupancy level at that time. We have gotten in a few hours early, and gotten our rooms, but never that early.

The dedicated two bedrooms have two queen beds in the second bedroom.
The lockoffs have one bed and a pull out sofa,if that makes a differance too you,

Also make sure you are not near the 2nd elevator.
Very noisy all night long.

Have a great time:sohappy:

Some of the dedicated rooms still have 1Q and 1 sofabed, they are just not lockoffs, you can request dedicated 2Q rooms though, I like the 2Q rooms myself, the new sofa beds are more comfy but still not as comfy as a Queen bed.
