Librity Tree - Pot Roast turned out really good when I made it.
My wife has been able to make the Whispering Springs Cafe - Caramel Apple Pie Perfectly.

Disney Calories don't count when you make the recipe at home do they? Because that Pie doesn't last long after it's done baking. MMMMmmmmmmmm :hungry:

Happy birthday, James!

Happy Birthday to James...sounds like he is having a special meal indeed.
He says thank you!!!!!!!!!!!!!! He's my mini-me when it come to trip planning! I couldn't have planned our trip without him! He was on here, he checked the menus on allears and he checked touring plans for crowd calendars and touring plans. He was up every morning with me making our ADRs. So if it's a Disney meal he wants it's a Disney meal he gets!

steak very rare

Wise beyond his years! Good for him!! I must have been 21 before I appreciated a properly cooked steak. In most restaurants I'll still order med-rare just because I'm not in the kitchen and can't observe food handling practices. At home, it's black and bleu! You get so much more of the natural beef flavor. Note: My wife tends to disagree and Medium is her limit....and she will look away if I'm slicing anything cooked cooler than Medium. Thus: I cook two Prime Ribs for Christmas.;)

I really like the sauces from Tutto Italia as a base for a lot of Italian dishes. Meatloaf from 50's Prime Time is another solid favorite that we tweak to fit our taste. We love the Cobb salad from Hollywood Brown Derby, but running a business from home and the hours my wife puts in make if difficult to make the time for all of the knife work.

Happy Birthday, James! Dinner sounds delish! For me, I have lots of recipes I want to try out once the weather cools. I think the main one though --that Ooey Gooey toffee cake. I keep thinking about it. The pot roast was really good, too. Maybe I just need to hop a quick flight and pop in.

I have made a lot of Disney recipes. OUr favorites are the chicken parm from Mama Melrose's, ooey gooey toffee cake from Liberty Tree, monte cristo sandwiches now only from DL, potatoes with Afritude that used to be at Boma, and the cheddar cheese soup from Le Cellier.
