Oh I know that they will take care of it, but in the meantime that idiots seriously screwing up these boards.
There should be Mods in different time zones so that one of them is at least awake and can respond to Reported Posts

I was also up early this morning, and noticed the ridiculous number of pages of spam posts. It was frustrating. I knew that the mods, who do a wonderful job here and monitor the forums quite a bit, would delete them in due course. Reporting spam at least brings the problem to the attention of the mods, when they do log on. Thank you for reporting the spam.
We delete stuff everyday. Most of the time it is so quick that nobody notices. Sometimes life gets in the way and it takes a while, hopefully those times are few and far between,

I don't know what the technical name for it is, but that was carpet spamming this morning - a little tough to keep up with it.
That spammer tested the waters yesterday. Most likely checking to see what the response would be to their posts and testing to see what could and could not get through the spam filters. What they learned yesterday, they used to hit the forum hard today. I'm betting @wdwmagic took good notes from today and has updated things to make it harder for them to do the same thing again.
