Spaceship Earth closed for refurbishment 3/13

I was at Epcot last night and there was a sign in front of SE that said it will be closed for refurbishment on 3/13/02. I spoke with a CM and she said it was only supposed to be for that one day.

ya suppose to be minor work I say they are oiling the track some or fixing some of the blown speakers in the cars. Or who knows

My wife is down there this week for a business trip. They get to go to Epcot for one day, the 13th. Spaceship Earth is her favorite ride. Boy is she going to be upset...

Yeah.. last May on my honeymoon.. Spaceship Earth was soo squeeky. I was going to donate a can of WD40.

Oddly enough the ride was MUCH quieter already than it was in previous months...perhaps they are taking assertive measures to make sure it stays that way?
