SPACE study

WDW is asking it's CM to be part of a guest flow study for SPACE at the World Showplace. This is nothing new, and when they're trying to crunch the number for attractions they often ask guests or CMs to participate in such studies.

Essentially, you're getting paid to wait in a fake line.

Wel, the intereting sidebar... CM's who participate will not only be paid their normal wage, but also recieve a Fastpass for the attraction when it opens for Cast Previews.

Oo... ah...

I'm not going, too close to my vacation :)

It's probably jsut gonna be white lines on the ground and then fake "loading" into vehicle space and such. Essentially it's to work out timing issues.

It's not at SPACE. It'ss in the World Showplace. They map out a similar area, but it's not the actual building.

I know, but I was thinking you could post a line stragagie (kinda like Test Tracks) that says how long a line is by looking and other little things.

Sounds fun. It reminds me of the stories from when the Mark VI monorail was being developed. They would lay out the car size, doorways, benches, etc. on the floor with tape and get cast members to board and get off the "monorail" over and over until they had it just right.

Rob, they did this back in 2000 as well, to do the initial tests for the queue. It was great... get paid 3.7 hours and get free bottled water for waiting in line. I think I may sign up to do it again this time around.
