Space Shuttle Columbia is gone

I just read the sad news that the Space Shuttle Columbia broke up over Texas this morning. Columbia was heading for a landing in Florida. at 200,000 ft, Mission control lost contact with Columbia. My prayers and tears go out to the families of the astronauts.

OMG! I just heard this! It trully is a sad day! This is the second Space shuttle disaster! Can NASA withstand this?
My thoughts and prayers are with all the families and friends of the deceased astronauts!

I'm sure everybody knows former astronaut Kathy Sullivan. She is the CEO of COSI (Ohio's Center of Science & Industry) in Columbus, Ohio At one time she was on Columbia as a Shuttle Astronaut. I have not seen her at COSI today, But she as all of us are deeply saddened by the tragic events over Texas.
