Space Mountain cars

I am building a k'nex model space mountain (partly because I don't want to buy the kit, and partly because I want to build it on my own just because it feels like you have done something really cool)

Anyways...does anyone know how long and wide the actual coaster cars are on space Mountain? I am trying to scale it right and the cars is how you would scale it.

It depends on which Space Mountain you want to recreate. Florida and Hong Kong (I believe) have 1x4 seating. The other Space Mountains have 2x4 seating.

Wait, how are there four? There are two cars per group and four per party. If your referring to party, then I understand. But for group there is no way to associate four.

it's 1x3 (for two connected cars) in HK and Florida... and I believe you're correct on the others.

so for DL...would 4 foot by 10 foot be about right for the trains?

Not sure the exact dimensions... have to go look i think; but that actually sounds a little larger than ours in FL... so it might be right.

(I could do measurements on ours, we have a WDW in our engr dept)
