Southwest booking window open through March 6, 2009

It just opened about 15 minutes ago. The prices are all VERY high right now - but we are going in February which is a busy time, so we need to book at this rate to reserve the flight. The fare is refundable, so we can always cancel and rebook at a lower cost, or take the credit for another trip!!!

I've been constantly checking Jet Blue's website waiting for them to open up February, so this gives me hope it may be soon!

With crude and petrol products on the down-swing, these prices SHOULD follow...

But who knows how the airlines really price their flights. :shrug: Its a mystery.

We were looking at flights for November on Southwest, they were absolutely outrageous as well. We booked at Jetblue down and Delta back for half the price.

Airlines were struggling with making a profit when oil was 80 bucks a barrel, nevermind what it is now. I think we are gonna be stuck with hire fairs unfortunately.

We just pushed our trip back to February (would have been going in October for our anniversary ) and I'm curious to see how things go.
