Sounds wierd but if Disney decided to move the Hall of Presidents, which they would never do, to American Adventure they could combine it into one show instead of having two shows.

True, but it would NEVER happen, as you said.

I think HM represents much more than 50% of Liberty Square. I don't know about you, but I make it a point to visit the HM on nearly every visit to the MK. But, I really can't tell you when I last visited HoP. Everybody views it as a sleeper and thus we have these removal rumors.

I've never been to HoP or AA, because the queues/waits are always massive.
Both auditoriums are massive. AA's to the point that a show seldom fills to capacity... even when hundreds of people had been waiting beforehand.

Sadly, AA seems just a little out of date now; like our vision of America may have changed in recent months. You hear people discussing that as they exit.

I can't stand the HOP! My DH loves it! So we compromise, every time a new president is elected and "inducted" into the HOP we go see it. I was pretty happy when Clinton won a second term ;)

If you look at the "educational" aspects of Disney World, Hall of Presidents is part of Liberty Square for a purpose and would never be moved. I take my kids to it for that reason. To me Disney World is much more than just "fun and games". My children have actually learned a lot from our visits. Did any one know that in the Oak Tree in Liberty Square there are thirteen lanterns, representing the original 13 colonies of the United States. If you research Disney World and Walt, you will see that he meant for Disney World to be a learning environment as well as a place to have fun. A lot of thought and planning have gone into Disney World that can't be replicated anywhere else. Next time you are there, take the time to read the small stuff (the plaques by each of the colonies flags in Liberty Square) and other things throughout each park. You may be amazed that you can learn even while you are on vacation...................and it can be fun!!!

I'm proud to be an American and make it a point to do these attractions on each visit.

Most people just think of Disney like any other theme park around, that it is just there for the rides. Take a closer look next time you visit. That's what makes Disney stand above all the other "theme" parks in the world.

You are correct in that they would never combine them. Even if they talked about it, I dont think they should. I really like them both and where they are.:)

Just like Mickeyfan said, my daughters also learn a little something every time we visit HoP and the AA. Usually they whine just a little before we go in, but on the way out, they say how much they actually liked it.
