Originally it was the Monster Sound Show, where 4(?) Guests chosen from the audience provided live sound effects for a Martin Short/Chevy Chase short film. You then watched the film with their added sound effects.

Then it became a similar attraction based on Disney's "One Saturday Morning" lineup of cartoons, but the sound effects were more push-button effects than live foley props.

Eventually (and unfortunately) it was changed into Sounds Dangerous.

Although I only got to experience Monster Sound Show once, I thought it was definitely more interesting than the attraction that replaced it.

If I were a CM I don't know if I would enjoy working in an attraction where guests essentially have a few minutes to fall asleep if they choose to. (No Hall of Presidents jokes, please!)

The first time I "experienced" Sounds Dangerous, thats what I thought it was going to be. Audience participation in making sound effects. I was excited. Oh the horror that ensued.

SD is SUCH a disappointment. Monster Sound Show was actually entertaining, since the guests on stage were trying to create live sound effects with actual foley props.

Version 2 was awful because, as someone mentioned, the SFX were generated electronically.

Now, you just put headphones on and nod off for 5 minutes. It's not even funny. Drew Carey is about as entertaining in it as he is on the Price is Right. I miss Bob Barker!
