The good folks of San Diego got quite a surprise during their July 4th celebration last night. One of the largest fireworks shows in the U.S. was ruined after a technical glitch caused all the pyrotechnics to prematurely ignite all at once.
Five minutes before the Port of San Diego's "Big Bay Boom" was to start, the malfunction caused all fireworks to be launched within 20-seconds, rather than the almost 20-minute show which was planned. Here is a video of what spectators witnessed:

Don't worry, San Diego. This sort of thing gets better with practice & age.
