Sorry - Forgot the Answer to This!!

Don't hate me for asking, because I know that I know the answer to this question, but have completely forgotten it! Are you supposed to call the hotel 10 days out from your trip to make specific room requests? Or it is like 3 days out? I remember one time I was told to call 10 days out, but then another time I think I was told to wait until it was like 3 days out. Help please!!

I've heard both as well. I'd fax over a request 10 days ahead, and then call 3 days ahead to "confirm that the fax was received" and reiterate the request. Belt and suspenders!

I have read that faxes are ignored. Best to call and have it noted on your reservation. I make my requests upon booking and only once did I not receive what I asked for (that's you, Yacht Club!)

We faxed our request over 10 days before we arrived. Soon as we checked in the CM said "We got your fax and we were able to accommodate all your request!"
I only requested a corner room and specific building so I was thrilled!
