Apart from the obvious disney songs (feel free to share though your face disney sings etc or playlists you've made!) are there any songs that remind you of your disney vacation?

For me it's Taylor Swift Love Story simply because it is ALWAYS played on the radio and it reminds me of travelling to the parks! :D Also Bennie and the jets by Elton John. Another song that always seems to be played over and over! I don;t mind though because i love that song!

Also the Twenty One Pilots album just because i made my parents play it over and over and over and it became our holiday soundtrack! :D

Please share your disney/ vacation playlists! :)

The first time we ever went to Florida we stayed at the Comfort Inn (think it's now Clarion). Anyhoo, we rented a car and used to do the I-4 drive each day. I was 11. I can remember the car going over the joins in the motorway bum-bum bum-bum, seeing Spiderman on the outside of a tall building and Luther Vandross "Never too much" being on the radio.

Aww that's so great! :) I love how music can bring back certain memories!

For me and my brother, it is an album, Dolly Parton's and Kenny Rogers' Once Upon a Christmas. When I was in college, my family used to drive down to Florida every Christmas and my mom tortured us by playing this album over and over and over again. My brother and I still shudder at the memory. For Christmas last year, as a joke I gave it to my brother! He cracked up and then nicely passed it over to my mom to keep.

I said this on an earlier post but it's My Way by Frank Sinatra. It epitomizes the whole vacation because you go through the highs, you go through the lows but in the end, everything turned out all right and like Frank said, "But more, much more than this, I did it my way."
Ahh that's so great! Frank Sinatra reminds me of going to pick up my brother when he was first born from the hospital. My dad had been playing it all week long and on the way me and him were singing it. :D

Elvis always reminds me of disney and florida, simply because being english, we don't have many mainstream radio shows, so my mind was blown that there was a whole radio station just for Elvis. Every time we go we make it our mission to find the elvis channel :D

When my family first started to go to Disney, we'd drive from MN. My parents always had their music on, the oldies. But one song stands out because my brothers and I changed the lyrics. It was "Chantilly Lace" from the Big Bopper. But where the lyrics "Make me feel real loose like a long necked goose" is sang, me and my goofy brothers would yell out "Make me feel real loose like the balls on a moose." It was funny at first. But, our next trips, my parents made sure we had walkman's. But to this day, whenever I hear that song, I think of that time & place going to Disney in the car. Plus, I still laugh. Even 20 some years later.

The Ramone's Pet Semetary. It was my first time staying on Property in 2005 and when they had the Your Resort Channel on instead of the contemporary jazz style versions of the Disney songs they played this since it was during October..I don't know if they still do that as I've been coming in Jan and late Sept..

One Republic's Good Life as it was beaten to death in the commercials before our trip and anytime I hear it I instantly think of Disney. Don't get me wrong I do like the song and the memories of our trip that it evokes.

Hootie and the Blowfish because I saw them on Pleasure Island mid day 3-4 months before they hit it big. Watched them play not knowing who they were until months later when we had that Ah Ha moment and had to run to our photos that we took.

That One Republic - Apologise was just released when i went to Disney for the first ever time! I'm not crazy on the group, but that song always makes me weirdly happy because it reminds me of being 14 and going to disney for the first time ever!!! :D

I forgot about One Republic's Good Life. That's also a good one.

The song used in the movie Wall-E, "Put on your Sunday clothes" or something like that, it comes from "Hello Dolly". The first morning I walked up Main Street with my then 5 years old DS holding my hand that song was playing. Everytime I see the movie, yes I know it's Pixar/Disney, I think of that morning with my son's eyes as big as saucers as we walked toward the castle.

Blurred lines and that "I don't care, i love it: song was played over and over until my ears wanted to self destruct this year. Even with the Twenty One Pilots and Disney song playlists i made, you could still hear those songs everywhere!

Then the Trayvon Martin trial started and i listen to that non stop. Not exactly a happy thing to listen to though, but it's a historic moment i guess.

For me it's an entire album. Britney Spears- Baby One More Time. Lol.

When my mom and I would go to the World we would drive to Indiana, visit with close family friends that live there, then fly out of the Indianapolis airport. On the drive out there the second time, I had just bought Britney Spears' first cd Baby One More Time. Hadn't even opened it yet so I opened it up in the car then placed it in the cd player and played the whole thing.

Now of course I've grown up as Britney has grown up (I'm only three years younger than her) and I prefer her more recent/adult music but I'll always love BOMT mainly just because of the road trip to Indiana.
