One time I arrived at Epcot around 7PM in late January and listen to My Blood Valentine through my phone earbuds just loud enough to cancel out Illuminations music and walked around the World Showcase. It was a very surreal but calming moment.

One time I arrived at Epcot around 7PM in late January and listen to My Blood Valentine through my phone earbuds just loud enough to cancel out Illuminations music and walked around the World Showcase. It was a very surreal but calming moment.

That actually sounds interesting. It can be fun to wander through WDW and listen to other music on headphones, or just take in the natural, ambient noise present in the parks as well!!
