Something special coming off the bus

This is my Sister's first trip to WDW. She has always been one of those that can't understand why I keep going back. She has never been there. SO, I want to make a great first impression right off the bus from the airport. Will the resort(ASMUSIC) do anything for her if I made arrangements ahead of time?

We got a great deal on this trip and that is one reason why she agreed to go.

well that just stinks. We have always been greeted with a red carpet and a high five at Pop. Just wondered if they did anything extra for a first timer if asked.

You can always ask, when you book they ask you if you're celebrating anything. Granted that's usually a "celebrating" button. I'd ask, worst they say is no

Of course you can ask but WDW has hundreds to thousands of first timers per day every day of the year. Being a first timer is really not that special and they likely just wouldn't have the time and human resources to greet every first timer.

Well, to be fair, they do. They just do it at check in at the front desk.

Was just thinking the same thing. French Quarter has the friendly door greeters and sometimes has ppl outside hanging out welcome beads. That's really all I've ever seen. Oh and GF had welcoming ppl last time I stayed there. Poly use to, not sure anymore
Yeah, they all have some sort of greeter in my experience, but nothing like Pop and its games / bubble guns / music / mini dance party.

What about moving over to Pop Century? If not, I still think it's great when the bus passes under the Disney World arches!

Why not stash some things in your carry on and when she departs the bus, you can present her with something thats connected to her favorite character, a welcome card that holds a Disney gift card, a lanyard with pins etc.
You can hold your own mini celebration before you step into the lobby and are greeted by the desk check in.

I don't believe they have a resort greeter and the crowd outside may be off putting depending who is staying there.
Lol wut? Are you really saying what I think you're saying, i.e. "All Star guests are gross"?

Sounds like my personal hell.

Everytime I have stayed at Sports I have been greeted getting off the bus by one or several CMs with mickey hands clapping and high fiving. This has even been the case when I have been the only person getting off at sports.

Really. This must be something new. We used to stay at Sports before POP was built. Never had a greater.

However, that was also before Magical Express. Maybe they started when ME started.

I think it varies. I am usually arriving at Sports between 8 and 1030am and its normally someone out there. But I have observed other times later in the day when no one is out there.
