Am I the only one that thinks we need something new to talk about?

Almost every thread I see revolved around 20k or Beastly Kingdom... and frankly I think its getting old and stale.

We need to inject some new life into these boards!

What's the funniest thing to happen to you at WDW-

i'll start. My friends and I tried getting a walk-in at Chefs de France in Epcot at 8:35, but to no avail. So I call WDW-DINE on my cellphone, and they had a PS for 8:40. We came back, and the seater wasn't believing us, so when he looked us up on the computer, his face was RED!

just to go with the first post i blew $200 bucks of my b-day money on pins.

now for the second post, well it was our first day at the parks since we arrived and we are walking onto universe of energy. all of a sudden when we get into the vehicles I get the worst stomach cramp. It felt like I downed a bottle of X-Lax. So I am sweating like crazy and fidgeting inside UofE and I remember cursing to myself when the guy was talking about oil in the helicopter at the end for him to shut the f**k up. So after the ride I jumped out of the vehicle ran past my family and darted into a bathroom. I remember there was a bathroom nearby luckily. We laugh about it now.

Now I did not spend $1200 dollars in one purchase but one time I specifically remember spending like 50 bucks over the period of day on just ice cream sandwiches alone. It ruled!!!

I would have to say the best time I ever had was last december. My girlfriend and i were doing the "Dolphins in Depth" at Epcot. Well, there is supposed to be 8 people in the group however, the other 6 people ( 1 family i think) did not show up.......so we had bob and toby allto ourselves for like 45 minutes it was really cool....and all the cm were so nice..it really made us feel like we were the only ones in the park.

oh the most i have ever spent in one day is about $2000.....paying for 5 nights at the grand floridian in one shot

I think the funniest time we had was in '97 when my sister and I took my Mom. She was in a wheelchair and as we were waiting to enter the old Chevy Chase sound stage at MGM, now the Drew Carey 3-D sound, I was picked as one of the people to go on stage to make the sounds for the movie. I was to the far right on the stage and my Mom and Sister were on the very top row in the far left corner. I could hear my Mom laughing all the way to my position on stage and that got me laughing, it is a memory that will forever give me a good feeling.

Ok, I really don't remember how much I spent, but it has go to be my first day using the CM discount at Virgin Megastore... 10 DVDs, some books, and a couple computer games...

Now, for the funniest thing... I guess it has to be the time I innocently tried to sweep away a pice of wet napkin that was actually a frog... :lookaroun You really wouldn't believe the scare I got, specially because it was already closing time, this happened by the mountains and it was really dark. Now I laugh, but it was weird to see that napkin jump on my foot. :hammer:

hmm Most I've spent.. and you guys who know or are cast members are going to laugh but it has to be 80 + dollars at property control for Christmas presents for my roommates (hey I had NO money ... I was on the CP what do you expect). But other than that it was about 50 I spent my last day at Epcot getting the few MUST haves before my flight the next day...

Funniest thing? hmm... LOL When Lauren and Kellie (my roommates in FL) and Missy (our honorary roommate) and I were going to the contempoary to catch the monorail cause we were spending the day at the magic kingdom and Missy started laughing so hard she layed down on the cement and we had to make her get up. I love my old roommates .
