We're booked at BWV (Preferred View) for 1/15-1/21/09. :sohappy: We had our choice of at least 5 DVC properties at that time, including BCV. The only drawback that prevented us from staying at BCV was that one night (the Sunday night) was sold out. Still happy about getting in there, though.

Now, time to research buildings to ask for. ;) Advice is greatly appreciated. I'll be combing threads here and at MouseOwners for pointers.

All the DVC villas are in one building at BWV, the other building is the BW Inn. The DVC preferred views are either main pool, quiet pool or canal view rooms. Boardwalk view rooms are a seperate category as are the standard view rooms which are parking lot, main entrance view rooms. You could request a room close to the elevators as there is only one set for the entire building and the walk can be a bit var if you're at the end of a hallway.

Love BWV! Great resort. I agree with the elevator suggestion. Also, there is a quiet pool over by community hall if you don't want to go to the main pool, Keister Coaster. The boardwalk is alot of fun at night with the games and entertainment. Big River is a really good micro-brewery restaurant and you have to try the bakery. You have also ESPN and Spoodles. Boats to EPCOT and DHS are right there but the walk to EPCOT is a nice one and you will be in World Showcase in 10 minutes. One night walk over to Yacht & Beach club and hit Beaches & Cream. Have a great time!

Below is a diagram showing the various views. You can see the Preferred View in Red.
