I have quite a bit of park music i have collected over the years, and was in the mood for something different to listen to while at work. So...I have turned to old vacation planning videos/dvds.
I found a site that converts youtube videos to mp3 files. so I can listen to thru itunes.
It's interesting hearing the changes that have taken place over the years, like the additions of Animal Kingdom, Hollywood Studios and the cruise lines. And to hear about the things I missed out on like the Disney institute, the Millenium Celebration and the Famed Adventurers Club.

Lots of great memorable songs and moments from the Adventurers club are available. Youve got to include those. Too bad you missed going in person. It was a great time.

Believe it or not, the thing I really wanted to experience was the Disney Institute. I can see how it didn't work out. But That seems like something I'd really enjoy. I caught Pleasure Island on the tail end, but I was out of my early drinking/party years and didn't quite have the interest. Missed the adventurers club solely b/c I didn't know of it's existence.

I was lucky enough to see much of EPCOT when I was young. (SO GLAD I got to experience Horizons) My father and I went several times when school was out. But then, there was a 15 year gap that I didn't go.

Missed the Cake/castle (I think I'm ok with that one) The opening of AK, and all the 2000 stuff.

Luckily my wife and in-laws are very into Disney and we have gone back every year since 2005.

How do you convert youtube videos to mp3's? I'm not very technological, if someone wants to help me please?! If you don't want to share on the board maybe pm me? Thanks! :)

I actually keep going back to the Tomorrowland Loop that played from 1989-2003 (The one that starts with Bubble Shuffle). I actually also like the current Tomorrowland Loop, and the current Land Exterior Loop. Those are all very relaxing. Of course, Epcot Entrance 1982 is always going to be my all-time favorite.

I like the planning DVD's too, especially the ones from the 90's. I also like the Resort TV from the 90's (similar to the planning DVD's but a little shorter). I've got them on my channel if you want to check them out.

Thanks for the suggestions. I love listening to Disney music during the day. The current Tomorrowland is one of my favorites, too.

Is pretty easy. Just do a google search it. There are several sites that do it for free. You just copy and paste the link to the video and then hit convert. When it's finished. You can download the file.

Here's a video I found on my hard drive about the Disney Institute if you're interested: :-)
