Someone Had to Be First …

(USA Today) -- ABC’s That Was Then is likely to be the season’s first canceled series, as the Friday-night drama about a man transported back to his high school years averaged just 4.3 million viewers Friday, making it the least-watched new series on the Big Four networks. The network late this month might move The Drew Carey Show and Whose Line Is It Anyway? to replace it at 9 p.m. ET/PT. ABC mystery drama Push, Nevada also is on the chopping block, but because the show has a contest, more episodes must air to reveal clues so it can award a cash prize as required by law.

it's already coming over the news wires that 2 shows did get the axe... but nothing staitng which ones they were except that they were 2 dramas. So I guess John Ritter still has a job up to at least mid-season, we'll have to see how this show performs during November sweeps...

man, that was then was a really good show, it deserved a better time slot. It's a shame that show is going that was then was the only good show I have watched weekly. Can they just switch time slots. The show had a great plot and the endings were great.

But hey, you can still catch pointless tripe like The Batchelor, and when Push finally goes off the air, maybe we'll get another hour of America's Funniest Home Videos

I really thought it was a good show to. I taped it (or what I thought was it) and realized it was gone when I went back to watch it. I read somewhere that there was still six shows that may be broadcasted at a later date in a different time slot, but I would not count on that.

I think there are 2 more episodes that will air so that there will be enough clues revealed to have someone find the prize.

This is horrible that they are moving Whose Line and Drew, I mean they've already moved once this year so now people won't know when to look for it, and also the Norm Show and Two Guys and a Girl were two of ABCs really good comidies and they went off the air after being moved to Fridays.

Aren't they moving after football season ends though? I thought that is what they said.
