Someone besides me checking in

Sorry if this has been asked before but I couldn't find anything. On day of check in, I won't be arriving to the hotel until about 10PM. I am visiting with a big group and one or two people may have to arrive in Orlando earlier in the day.

Would they be able to check in and use the hotel room or would I have to be present since I am the one who made the reservation? This is also a DVC Room at Bay Lake Towers, not sure if that would make a difference.

As long as they are on the room they can check in. If they are not listed as a guest they cannot.

I assume they would just need Identification and everything should be okay?

This is an instance where online check-in with direct to room is beneficial. Just give them an arrival time corresponding with the first person's arrival. They'll text you the room number, which you can forward to the others.

Excellent! I'm not very familiar with Online Check-In so I will look into it.
