Some Planning Questions!

Hey everyone!

Well, it's been way too long since my last trip to the world. And when was that? February 7th and 8th. I usually visit monthly, but I went to Disneyland in March and this month's weekends have been busy for me. Anyways, to make up for the absence, my family and I have decided on a nice, 5-day stay (it's also our first long-time stay in a while, since our monthly trips are usually on weekends, the long trip will also be a nice tieover until I go on a European cruise in July). When? May 29th-June 2nd. Ouch! Memorial Day weekend. Crowds will be large. They should dwindle down considerably on June 1st, the day after Memorial Day. I haven't been during a Memorial Day holiday in almost 3 years, so I don't exactly remember the crowds. So, with that, I'm going to need some help with the intinerary and how crowds will be.

Here's the lineup for the vacation:

Saturday, May 29th: Arrival, Dolly Parton's Dixie Stampede dinner show (I've been to the ones in Tennessee and Missouri, but haven't tried this one yet!)

Sunday, May 30th: Disney MGM-Studios all day (it's a risk with the crowds, but I don't want to miss Star Wars Weekends)

Monday, May 31st: Universal Studios Florida all day (I need to ride Revenge of the Mummy, unfortunately I'll be waiting in a 3 hour line)

Tuesday, June 1st: Magic Kingdom all day (chose this day for Magic Kingdom because crowds should be somewhat smaller than over the weekend)

Wednesday, June 2nd: Departure, Epcot all day (crowds should be somewhat smaller)

Sound good? Anything I should change to help with crowds?

This will be my final trip to the World until August. I go on hiatus from my monthly trips from June-Mid August because I hate the crowds! But I still will be in Orlando, making a monthly trip to Universal Orlando. I may drop in to one of the parks though for a spin on Splash Mountain though! :D

That sounds like a good schedule.

The Star Wars Weekends may not be that bad when it comes to lines. I could be very wrong here. During the SuperSoap Weekend, there were plenty of people at MGM, but no lines(30 min max on RNRC)

When you get to Universal... I'd head straight to the Universal Express que and get one. Eat at Buffet's place!!!

Have fun at Dolly's!!! I hear it's a good show!

Everything is all right, but I can't understand why are you Skipping Animal Kingdom and Islands of Adventure, Oh, and Busch gardens. Ok, maybe you don't have as many days, but maybe you can look for two or three days more...

And I would go to "Medieval Times" instead of Dixie Stampede. But Hey, Im a medievalist, that's just me.

Anyway, congratulations for your journey, please enjoy it very much :D, and more on behalf of those of us who haven't go there in a lot of time, and that lot of time will pass before we go again. :(
