Hey all,

I just finished speaking to some of my sources within WDW (namely, planning/logistics-type people), and anyway... they've given me some dates to keep an eye out.

as most of us know, preparations for Spectacle of Lights have already begun. Expect to see most of it outside, and advertising starting on Oct 10. A media/VIP/dignitary event for it on November 15, and CM previews on Nov 19. Expect a possible AP event around that time (hell, it may be the event on the 15th. My source was pretty vague about that).

expect Magic of Disney Animation AP/CM previews on October 15-17, with a reopening on the 18th.

And last... they've been doing focus groups over at MK for stitch's great escape already. I don't know what type of groups, or if the attraction is even operational. I just post what I'm told.. lol.

What does this mean? Sorry, I'm having a kinda stupid day.

Wow, mid November seems early for Christmas lights, but I s'pose they have to be early if we're gonna see previews. I'm just one of those people who doesn't even think about decorating yet until thanksgiving, then let the decorations roll.

From what I had seen when a CM turned the lights on in the old Animation rooms (which he/she was not supposed to do) is that the new Animation tour thing will be similar to that at DCA.

WOW! I can't wait to see the new Magic of Disney Animation attraction, that has always been one of my favorites. The one in DCA is really nice, so if ours is similar, I will be very pleased. :)

I was hooked by this attraction when I first saw the posters for 'Aladdin' way back when. I hope that someday we can once again look forward to watching animators working on an upcoming animated THEATRICAL release. (Sorry, the whole direct-to-video/cheapquel thing gets me steamed....) It's so darn cool to watch animators doing their thing.

Considering alot of store already have Christmas stuff out already, it doesn't surprise me one bit. When I worked in retail, the store I worked with put up it's Christmas decorations the day after Halloween!
