some help with the ultimate 14 day ticketplease

heres my problem.
there were 6 of us going to wdw in may 2009, so we bought tickets from the disney website, 6 ultimate 14 day tickets at £169 each which was a bargain price as they soon went up!(now £229)
any way 4 people have had to cancel the holiday, what can we do with the 4 tickets, if we cancel we will lose some money, are the tickets named and dated?
when we ordered the tikcets they took each parties name, so we arent sure wheather they are or not. me and my partner are still going and are thinking of keeping the remaiing four tickets and use next time we go in a couple of years. are they date and named tickets, or can we use them when and who we like?

Do you have the tickets in your possession or do you have a voucher to exchange when you arrive at WDW ??

If you have the tickets then they're not named but they must be activated for first use during 2009.
If you have a voucher then you must collect the tickets from WDW (in exchange for the voucher) and all tickets signed while in the presence of the kiosk - plus the person named on the voucher must have a photo ID (passport).

If you haven't got the tickets then write to Disney to change your order - you may have to pay some sort of admin fee prior to getting a refund.

Final thought - those that cancelled should try and claim for the cost of their tickets on their holiday insurance

not sure we havent had them yet, disney said they send them out about a month before travel. so not sure if a voucher or real tickets, i better phone them and see. i know if i cancel they will charge a fee, to cancel them plus we got them at such a good price dont want to loose them as we can use next time we go in a couple of years time. im going to ask disney, ill ring them

No you can't.

A UK 5,7,14 or 21 Day ticket MUST be first used in the year it was purchased. To keep them means you must use them on or before December 31st THIS YEAR and they'll be dead by mid January 2010

ok sorted.
they are vouchers that we take to our hotel (allstars music) and transfer for tickets, hoping we can just add it to the door key card.
they will refund for 4 people and just charge a £50 fee to cancel, which we will do.
