Solo!

I’ve been afforded the opportunity to visit the world on my own albeit off property. I have 3 day hopper tickets and will be there this weekend. Any recommendations? I wouldn’t mind a nice meal or two but I know how it can be with ADRs. I’d you had an unexpected trip come up just for you, without ADRs...where would you start? I can use single rider for most of the bigger attractions. Just curious on others thoughts on how they’d squeeze so much into little time. This trip will be without kids.

Welcome to any suggestions!

Oh youll be amazed at how much you will be able to do solo. Without having kids to wait for, to be worried about, dealing with attitudes, food/ bathroom breaks, and all the worries that come with kids.... youll be far head in the game. Moving through the crowds will be easier and faster. Besides using single rider lines, youll get asked to fill in open spaces in ride cars so you may jump ahead of others when picked. You can choose your own specific plan doing only the things that you want. Fireworks, parades, shows... its easier to find a watching spot for only 1 than many.
If you dont have ADR's dont worry so much. Theres some excellent counter service spots that serve great food items, lots of snacking items to be picked up in the parks as well to fill you up. Look through the dining posts and choose what youll order from CS ahead of time, make your plans each day where you want to stop in, eat at the off hours to avoid crowds, so that will save you time as well. If you do desire a TS, you may walk up and be there at the right time to find an available table, just ask the CM host.
Solos are great once you get past the being on your own feelings. Enjoy.

Hope you enjoyed yourself! I've done at least 20 solo trips over the years. DH surprised me with my first solo trip for Mother's day 23 years ago. Since then, I've "needed" a mental health trip at least once a year by myself. Hey, he goes golfing without me, so why can't I return the favor by going to WDW without him?

I could never imagine doing a solo trip! I like to have a riding partner! The only way I would do a solo trip is to plan meet ups with others from on here to spend the day with...another soloist so I would not have to be a 3rd wheel in a family!
